132.Languages play an important role in our cultural identity, so every time a language is  lost, our culture loses more than just a list of words. It means part of the unique cultural knowledge of its speech community is also lost. Added to this, from a Scientific perspective, we can learn a lot from languages about the human brain and how we think.<p><br></p>
