Hi Mary, How are things? I wanted to write and say thank you so much for all the advice you gave me before my interview. I have a great news—Igot the job! It was such a good idea to research the company on social media. I found out so much useful information, and it really helped me. Looking at some of the company photos even helped me to decide what to wear! I saw that most of the team were dressed business casual, and decided to do the same. On the day, I felt as if I looked like a good fit for the company, and this helped me to feel more confident. I’m also really grateful for the advice you gave me about common interview questions. Before the interview, I looked up some of the most frequently asked questions online and prepared my answers. The interviewer asked three of the questions I had prepared for! I knew exactly what to say, and felt so relaxed about it. After the interview, I wrote a thank-you letter, just like you advised me to do. I don’t know if this got me the job, but the hiring manager did say she really appreciated it, so perhaps it helped! I will start on Monday, and I’m so excited about meeting my new colleagues. Let me know when you’re free so I can take you for a coffee to say thank you for all your help. Take care, Ben
